Engaging the Power of Praise for Supernatural Turnaround- PART 4

"Who is like unto thee o Lord? Who is like unto thee? Amongst the gods who is like thee? Glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders"  - .Exodus 15:11.

According to scriptures,  God works wonders through praise and you can never tell how wonderful your life can be or the extent to which every aspect of your life can radiate the wonders of God, until you deliberately and diligently give God high praises.

We praise God to have access into His presence and to contact hidden wonders.  It is one thing to be in God's house and another to be in His presence. Psalm 100:4 says, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise...."  This means that one can never gain access into God's inner courts without an in-depth thanksgiving and praise.

Until you have access to God's presence you cannot have access to His wonders because everything that makes for life and godliness, all that makes life comfortable is found in His presence, as James 1:17 shows.

The arch enemy himself is aware of this truth and that's why he will do anything to stop people from giving God quality praise. Whenever you carry a long face, you will  have a long way to go, that is, your countenance determines what you receive. Hannah is a clear example; her Samuel did not come until her countenance changed (1 Samuel 1:18).

Whatever takes away praises from your life has succeeded in taking away your miracle but whatever cannot steal your joy cannot steal your blessing.

The kind of praise that provokes miracle is not the casually done one, but that which avoids all forms of distractions, a diligent praise. When praise is taken as serious business, barriers will give way for you.(Psalm 114:1-8)

God cannot be threatened by how long  you have been waiting for your miracle, the questions is are you doing what is required to command a miracle? God's word is principally instructions; instructions to give us our heart's desires. They may not make natural sense but they will deliver supernatural results.  Instructions are not to be debated on but to be obeyed. For example, Isaiah 54:1 says "Sing, o barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing..."  Now to the natural man, that is a ridiculous instruction because a barren woman usually carries a sorrowful countenance but God's ways are different because He uses the foolish thing to confound the wise. He says if you want to put an end to barrenness, you must sing.

The command of praise is one of the greatest commands of scriptures and that is why you can see that the book of Psalms is the longest book in the bible, with a hundred and fifty chapters.

In any area of life where you desire God's manifestation you must praise Him; the prevailing situation may not require praise but sing. In Acts 16:25-26 , Paul and Silas were in a pitiable situation yet they sang praises and God came down. If a man who is in a pit chooses to complain rather than praise God, he will most likely go deeper down the pit but when you praise God while in a pit, you get out and get to the peak of your world, the zenith of life.

Wonders that Happen in Praise

  • God is in Praise: When we praise God, He comes down with the blessings in His presence. God inhabits the praises of every praising believer. – Psalm 22:3, Acts 16:25-26.
  • Miracle Restoration of Health: God's medicinal power is released when you are praiseful . Just like the popular saying goes, "health is wealth", when someone's health is questioned or really challenged every other thing about the person is No hospital can guarantee your health, only God can guarantee your health. God has given us a formula of praise to come out of health challenges (Proverbs 17:22). God created us, He knows us and knows the right medicine for our body. A 'merry heart' as referred to in the above Bible passage means a singing heart; a sorrowful heart poisons your system. Every time you give in to sorrow, murmuring and complaining,  you poison your system.

The first thing a sick person loses is his smile or laughter. When you smile you attract divine presence and when God's presence is there no sickness can survive in your body. Psalm 16:11 reminds us that, "in His presence there is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures for ever more."  (Psalm 42:11)

  • Supernatural Strength: When we praise God we enjoy supernatural strength. The bible says, "is any merry let him sing...." but your singing will not be accepted until you are joyful. The Bible also says in Nehemiah 8:10 that "the joy of the Lord is my strength." When you are praise-full it means you are joyful and when you are joyful you will be strengthened because you have gained access into His presence "....they go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God." (Psalm 84:7). There are healthy people who still lack strength but a praising believer will always enjoy supernatural energy in spirit, soul and body.

Proverbs 18:14 says, "the spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who can bear?" When you lose your joy, you lose strength in the spirit man and when your spirit man is wounded, your body will go along with it. Mind you, your body cannot be affected until your spirit is wounded but it takes joy for your spirit to be healed. It means that if nothing can break your spirit then nothing can break your body.

Those who are prone to sorrow easily lose in the battles of life.  These battles are a function of strength, therefore the more joyful you are the stronger you become spiritually.

  • Deliverance is in Praise: You cannot be oppressed until you are first depressed. Depression is the gateway to oppression. When you are dry of joy, you create a conducive atmosphere for evil spirit to operate in your life. Singing, praising believer do not experience demonic affliction – Matthew 12:43, 1 Samuel 16:23, Acts 16:25-26.

The foundation for praise is gratitude. Until you are thankful you cannot be joyful but if you are offended in God there is no way you will be joyful in Him, and this will hinder you from giving God an acceptable praise. Hence, joy begins with gratitude, you can focus on the things God has done for you and begin to thank Him, not minding your other expectations which are yet to be met. Those who thank God in the face of any situation will, in the process of time, begin to thank Him in every situation.

Also, your thanksgiving is not complete without giving. The word 'thanksgiving' is a compound word of 'thanks' and 'giving'.  Psalm 96:8 makes us understand that our thanksgiving is not complete until we have given God a seed because giving validates our thanksgiving. Thanksgiving graduates to joy. and then our joy to praise, which, in turn provoke wonders.

If thanksgiving is absent in any man's life then the foundation is faulty and when thanksgiving is absent,  praise will be absent and if praise is absent, there will be no wonder.

In conclusion, the best way to have your health and strength restored is to give God quality, diligent and uncompromising praise. As you give God praise, every of your hanging blessings shall be delivered with speed in Jesus Name.
