God has a plan for all His children. You are neither a biological accident nor a mistake, but a product of God's deliberate creation. He told Jeremiah, "before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee...", meaning that we were predestined to be here.

Also, 1st Corinthians 3:9 tells us that we  are God's building and no one builds a house without a plan. That is why God took time to plan for us before our arrival and those detailed plans are domiciled in the Holy Book (Isaiah 59:11). It is the master guide of life and we must consult this plan if we want to realize God's intention for us.

In Joshua 1:8, the Bible says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

We must also realize that God's word is a spiritual mirror that reveals who we are in God's perspective. The Bible is not a story book, but a manual for living. Many of us do not have the patience to read manuals of appliances that we buy, only to end up under-utilizing the resources of that appliance. If we fail to consult the manual of life we will be cheating and robbing ourselves and living short of God's plan for our lives.

Refuse to see the Bible as just a book of historical facts or a book we bring to church only on Sundays. Jesus said man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from God.

The mirror reveals your natural self, while the Bible shows who we are spiritually. Once you become born again, you become a supernatural being. In fact, the Bible says you are god. Everytime we look at the Bible (spiritual mirror), we behold our supernatural identity - changed from the natural to the supernatural. The more we look at God’s word, the more we are changed from:

  1. a) Humanity to divinity
  2. b) Debtor to creditor
  3. c) Beggar to distributor
  4. d) Victim to victor.

This is so because what or who you look at determines what you look like. When you constantly look at God in His word - Jesus and His word are the same - you invariably end up looking like God because there is a transforming power in His word.

Since it has been determined that we can see what we look like from  God's word (Proverbs 27:19, Isaiah 55:1-3), we do not need money or an intermediary to gain access to this spiritual mirror.

However, the word not only shows who we are, but also, our mission on earth (Matthew 11:11, Genesis 26:12). The manufacturer of your life says that once you are born again, you become greater than Moses, Elijah, etc. You are God's work-in-progress and what God the manufacturer says about you supersedes whatever the repairer (doctor) says. Jesus never waited for people to tell Him who they felt he was, He tells them who He is first. Anything contrary to what God has said concerning you is a lie. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and must therefore, stop seeking other people's opinion about who or what you are.

  1. You are redeemed to enjoy health and vitality on earth (Matthew 8:17). Jesus himself took away all our infirmities. If you believe God's report, then behave it.
  2. You are redeemed to enjoy strength and vigour (Psalm 105:37, Exodus 23:25-26). When you are born again, you become the seed of Abraham and belong to Jesus’ tribe.

God's purpose is for you to lead a life of sound health but, there is a demand that guarantees it – that is serving the interest of God’s kingdom (Exodus 23:25-26). This is because the labourers on the harvest field are few, so God does not joke with the health of those available. We get healed by faith, but we remain in sound health by serving God (Proverbs 13:17, Romans 12:19, Psalm 94:1).

This brings us to the question of how to serve. There is no greater service to God than soul winning.

In addition to divine health, we also enjoy God's vengeance on those who trouble us. Vengeance is not a Church doctrine and it is executing God’s verdict upon the wicked. It is one of the attributes of God (Deuteronomy 32:35, Luke 18:3-8) and Jesus believed in it. It is important to God that His children experience comfort and He knows that it may never come until vengeance is executed. This is necessary, to stop the wickedness of the wicked.

  1. Be Born Again (Exodus 4:22-23). You must be a child of God for Him to fight for you. Except a man is born again, he will not enter God’s family.
  2. Be a committed servant of God, serving the interest of God and the advancement of His kingdom(Exodus 11:1), serving Him with all your energy (Psalm 89:21).

As we conclude, we must not forger that every man is an initiator of God’s move in his life. So position yourself for the move of God in your life.

Remain Ever Blessed

Jesus is Lord!
